  •  I don't understand anything about the Cold War. I need help and fast!
  • Where am I? Who is that? What is going on?!
  • Hello! I am History Bear and I am here to help you with your Cold War problem. That is Franklin Roosevelt who was the president of the U.S during the Cold War.
  • What's going on here?
  • Well, FDR and the Soviet Unions leader, Joseph Stalin, are showing their support of what they believe in capitalism vs communism.
  • Don't tear down this factory! The person who owns it has every right to have it!
  • Tear it down! It's going against communism rules, you can't own any property!
  • BOO COMMUNISM! THE SOVIET UNION STINKS! U.S.A! U.S.A!
  • This then lead to each country trying to make eachother look bad, or what we call propaganda.
  • BOO CAPITALISM! THE U.S STINKS! SOVIET UNION! SOVIET UNION!
  • People began to worry that a war would break out between the Soviet Union and U.S, hence why each country was trying to beat the other one. When one of them made a nuclear weapon the other one did also.
  • The Cold War ended when the Soviet Union basically collapsed. Nothing weapon related was used, that's why this war was named the Cold War. Now go ace that test!
  • Wow thanks History Bear! I have one question though, how did the war end?
