This storyboard does not have a description.
Elya Yelnats was Stanley Yelnats IV's great-great-grandfather. At the age of 15, he fell in love with Myra Menke.
Elya asked to marry Myra, and so does Igor Barkoff, a 57 year old pig farmer who had already asked Myra to marry her and offered his largest pig to her.
To recieve help, he had gone to visit his friend, Madame Zeroni, an old egyptian woman.
Promise me, or I'll curse your family
Elya told Madame Zeroni that he wanted to win Myra's heart and marry her. Madame warned him that Myra was empty as a flower pot and had an empty brain.
Elya insisted to marry Myra. Madame suggested to give him her runt piglet and carry it up a nearby mountain every day and sing a song to it while it's drinking from the stream there in order to make it grow larger and stand a chance against Igor's pig.
Before Elya left, Madame made him promise to come back and carry her up the mountain so she could drink from the spring. Otherwise, his descendants would be cursed for eternity.
