  • Beowulf vs. Grendel
  • I am Beowulf. The evil in you will loose to the evil in me that I display and use as good.
  • A Feast Fit for a Hero

  • Welcome
  • Grendel visits Hall Heorot in the darkest part of the night. He breaks the door and eats one of Beowulf's men. Beowulf to grabs Grendel's arm. The goodness in Beowulf burn Grendel's arm like a hot nails. Grendel could not take anymore, so he used all of his strength and ripped his arm from Beowulf. However, Beowulf kept his hold and Grendels arm popped out of its socket. Grendel screamed with agony and an awful odor of every eaten body escapes as grendel retreats back to his fen.
  • Death and Damage
  • Yes, sir.
  • Unferth gone, Grendel's hand gone, and Aeschere dead. Find the person of that doing.
  • The workers of Hrothgar hang Grendel's arm from the ceiling and shower Beowulf with thanks, gold, and gratitude. Poets tell of the story of Sigemund and Fitela, the nephew and uncle who defeated the dragon with nothing but their hands. All the poets make a deal of Sigemund and Fitela's accomplishments and compare it as nothing to Beowulf great victory. Mean while Unfurth is grumping in the corners and wailing that Grendel was beautiful and how he should have let Grendel take him.
  • Following into the Fen
  • As Hrothgar, Wealtheow, Beowulf, and the Geats are sleeping, Unferth sits restlessly. He is just about drove mad by his regrets of running from Grendel and how he belonged with such evil, being one himself. All of a sudden a creature from the fen crawls into Hall Heorot followed by a trail of slime. Immediately Unferth knows who it is and welcomes the monster. She snatches Unferth from Heorot and slithers back to the dark fen.
  • A Brave Goodbye
  • Bury Unferth's head, and leave me if I don't return with in 2 days.
  • In the morning, Beowulf and King Hrothgar awaken to see a trail of slime leading to the fen, Grendel's and gone, and Hrothgar's best friend, Aeschere, dead. Beowulf tells Hrothgar that he will find whatever caused such havoc.
  • Beowulf and his men all are following the trail of slime left behind by the mysterious monster from the night before. The trail leads into the evil fen where rodents roamed the floor and bats ruled the sky.
  • The trail finally ends in the deepest darkest pool in the fen. Hanging in a nearby tree is Unferth's head which Beowulf instructs his men to bury despite there hatred and his evilness. Beowulf goes into the pool in search of the evil monster and instructs his men to leave if he doesn't come back in 2 days.
