Solid to a Liquid! The particles in a change from a solid to a liquid go from tightly packed to being able to move freely and more spreed out. As it changes it gains thermal energy.
Every solid has properties. The properties of a solid are tightly packed particles, slight movement, and a definite volume and shape.
Liquid to a Gas! The particles go from being close together to being very spread out and move free. And it gains thermal energy.
Every Liquid has properties. The properties of a liquid are close but freely moving, definite volume but not i shape.
Liquid to a Solid! The particles go from being spread out to packed together and close. The change is loosing thermal energy.
Gas to a Liquid! When a change happens from a gas to a liquid the particles are slightly slower and tighter and it losses some energy.
Every gas has properties. The properties of a gas are very spread out and has not definite shape or volume.
