The Masque of the Red Death
This storyboard does not have a description.
The first thing that happens is that there is a very bloody disease that kills half of the country's population. This disease can symbolize anything bad that can happen to a person such as death.
After Prince Prospero notices that many people have died because of this disease. He invites 1,000 of his friends into his castellated abbeys and locks them in there to keep them save of this disease. The princes action can symbolize what any other person would do if there was a problem. They would try to help and save any friend that they can including themselves.
Prince Prospero has a masked ball for everyone so that they could be entertained and forgot about the many deaths that have occurred. There are 7 rooms in which the seventh is very different. This room represents death or anything that might bring fear into a person. And just like the story very few people are brave or not scared. There was also a clock in this room that represents time and says that it doesn't stop for anyone and will keep going.
Each time the clock went off everyone stopped what they were doing and just listened to the chimes fade away. The bell going off is a reminder of what is going. It stops everyone what they're doing which leads to them thinking about the disease, and that they possibly might die as well.
After midnight strikes a person in all red appears and draws attention. The red guy represents fate and/or death.
At the end pf the story the red guy kills everyone that tried to escape the red death. The author sends a message to its readers that no one can escape their death/fate.
