Taxing without benefits. Foreign marketers didn't like to trade with them anymore because they had to pay a tax to trade there goods. This did not benefited them at all. The British government continued to make laws and taxes for them though no matter how many arguments happened.
Intolerable acts: Boston port act, Massachusetts Government act: The Boston port act was when the British parliament blocked all ship exits, no ships were allowed to come in or out. the reason they did this was because they put a tax on tea and said that the colonist could only buy England's tea and in responce the colonist dressed up as American Indians and threw all the tea in the ocean.
