Poirot receives a letter asking him to come back to Lodon and he thinks about taking the Orient Express as transportation as he knows a friend that owns and runs it.
Seems like I have to go back to London, I think the Orient Express would be the fastest way
All characters are introduced The main characters are: M.Bouc, Dr. Constantine, Mery Debenham, Mrs. Hubbard, Princess Dragomirov, McQueen, Ratchet, and Cyrus.
The Orient Express
Ratchet was found stabbed 12 times in his bedroom. (We later understand that this represents the 12 passengers in the train who were all involved with the killing.
Poirot finds a small piece of cloth with the letter H which is one of the clues which led to the discovering of the murderer
Poirot interviews all the passengers on the train in hopes of discovering the culprit. This was one of the most influential points in the story as we got to know the true nature of all the characters
At the end of the book, Poirot convicted the doctor for the murder, until they all started to confess to the murder one by one until they were all found guilty. Poirot was shocked as this was one of the only times he was ever wrong.
We all did it! We killed him because he killed Daisy, someone we all knew.
Doctor, I found YOU guilty!
