  • Do your best Mr.Monroe and Mr. Livingston, have a safe trip!
  • HAMILTON! l know where you stand with your opinion on purchasing the Louisiana territory, however it is something I must go through with.
  • Mr.Bonaparte, on the behalf of Mr. Jefferson, America would like to ask for the purchase of the Port of New Orleans.
  • I would actually like to offer you a deal with double the amount of land west of the Mississippi River.
  • Just look at this! It is just about double the amount of land that we asked for! Only 15 million dollars too. Are we going to take the offer?
  • Goodbye Mr. Jefferson we hope to see you again and I'm sure we will find good things about the great Louisiana territory.
  • Now Mr.Livingston it says nowhere in the Constitution that presidents can buy land from other countries. I will have to think about it.
  • If you must Jefferson, you don't realize many Indians and vast areas of wilderness lie there. This will make our central government WEAK!
  • America! I am proud to announce the purchase of the Louisiana territory. I have great hopes for this country!
  • Goodbye Louis and Clark I hope your journey is safe and that you will find good things about the territory that America has gained!
