Storyboard Text

  • It was good, nothing out of the ordinary. We learned about someone named Lysista or something.
  • How was school today? What did you learn about?
  • I think you mean Lysistrata.
  • Flash back
  • Lysistrata planned a meeting with all the women of Greece to find a way to help and stop the Peloponnesian war, by cutting off sex to their husbands.
  • Those poor husbands.
  • Teacher talking....
  • You women are stupid and are only good for sex and household work.
  • The men were not so happy with this plan.
  • That's why we took over the Akropolis, the fortress that houses the treasury of Athens..
  • The chorus of old men carried wood and fire to the gates of the Akropolis. Than the chorus of women brought jugs of water to put out the fire. Than out of victory they pour the water on the men's heads.
  • Lysistrata spots Kinesias and trys to trick him into trading sex for peace. When he anwsers with an unsure response, she leaves no questions asked.
  • Lysistrata said both Athens and Sparta are of a common heritage and helped eachother and owe a debt to one another, the two sides should not be fighting. The Spartan and Athenian leaders decide land rights that will end the war.
  • I guess she was one bad ass Lady.
