No matter how much Piggy told them, they would not call him by his real name, whatever it was. They laughed at him constantly and never listened to him. Jack makes fun of Piggy the most.
You are so fat. Piggy, Piggy, Piggy.
That is not my name!
The boys let the fire get out of control, and did not pay any attention to the littluns. The birthmarked boy is killed.
Many of the littluns are scared of what they think is the beast, but many of the older kids think they are dumb and just imagining it. Sam and Eric believe they had seen it, causing fear and chaos within the group.
Jack and his small tribe hunt for a pig. They find a female with young babies. Instead of killing her in a simple and quick manner, they slaughter her in the most gruesome way possible. Simon's quiet place is now destroyed.
The boys start a fire to cook the pig, and begin chanting and dancing. Ralph and Piggy join in. In all the excitement, the boys attack Simon and he is violently killed. Ralph and Piggy deny their involvement later, thinking that it was not true if they did not believe it.
Roger pushes a large rock down the mountainside. Ralph dodges it, but Piggy, being the fat loser he is, can't move fast enough and is knocked off the mountain onto the rocks below.
