Storyboard Text

  • Hey, Rocky! Have you ever heard about the fjords of Norway?
  • Hey Buzz!
  • The glacier went through and left cracks.
  • Is there any other evidence?
  • Okay, so if there really was a glacier, then where is the erosion?
  • There is another glacier, that might be the same of a remnant of the old one.
  • R1: Hey Rocky! R2: Hey Buzz! Did you ever hear about the glacier that went through the fjords of Norway? R1: No, what happened?
  • Okay, I agree with you, after all this evidence. There must have been a glacier.
  • The glacier left the rounded pebbles in the water.
  • Rock 2: The glacier went through the mountains and tore away a path when it moved. R1: How do you know a glacier went through? R2: You can tell because when you look at the cliffs the have the grooves and scratches that an ancient glacier left there. R1:Thats only one peice of evidence though, is there more?
  • Sea Water came through through the new valley and created the river.
  • Wow!
  • R2: Well, yes. Another piece of evidence is the giant glacier close to where the fjords are, so it might be a remnant the the other glacier.  R1: Really? Ive learned about that glaciers erode, if there was really a glacier, is there evidence of erosion?
  • So the glacier went through, left theses scrapes and scratches, and eroded these pebbles making the Fjord?
  • Yes!
  • R2: Yes, if you look in the water, you can see the rounded pebbles left by the glacier. R1: Okaay, fine, I believe there was a glacier. But how did the water get into the valley?
  • R2:When the valley formed, in the space that was left, seawater came in and filled up the space. R1:That makes sense. So the water is salty? R2: Yes, because it is seawater. R1: Now I know how the fjords are formed I can impress all of my friends!
  • R2: If you think you know everything about the fjords then I guess you can go. R1: Okay then, Bye Rocky. R2: Bye Buzz.
