Nick says he never judges anyone
Nick and Jordan Baker are getting to know each other
Nick calls himself dumb
Nick is trying to convince the readers that he's a reliable narrator when he says, "I'm inclined to reserve all judgments" because he is telling them that he never judges other people (Fitzgerald 1).
When Nick was on his way to get "roaring drunk from the sheer embarrassment" Jordan Baker walked outside of the house and Nick and Jordan found each other (Fitzgerald 42).
Nick stated that Jordan “instinctively avoided clever, shrewd men” which is calling himself dumb since shes dating him (Fitzgerald 57).
