  • Research conducted by Amnesty International in 2005 found that 27% of people believe that a woman is totally or partially responsible if she is wearing ‘sexy or revealing’ clothing.
  • A women's clothing shouldn't be an invitation for sexual assault.
  • If women who were raped were "asking for it," they wouldn't be calling it rape. If women were "asking for it," it would be consensual.
  • Rape survivors are 13 times more likely to attempt suicide than are people who have not been victims of a crime.
