Research conducted by Amnesty International in 2005 found that 27% of people believe that a woman is totally or partially responsible if she is wearing ‘sexy or revealing’ clothing.
A women's clothing shouldn't be an invitation for sexual assault.
If women who were raped were "asking for it," they wouldn't be calling it rape. If women were "asking for it," it would be consensual.
Rape survivors are 13 times more likely to attempt suicide than are people who have not been victims of a crime.
