  • Steve
  • he is 17, tall and lean. He was also cocky and smart.
  • Steve was a static character because he still acted the same even when the runmble was over.
  • Cherry
  • Cherry is a redhead Soc girl, Bob's girlfriend, who Ponyboy met at the drive-in
  • Cherry is a dynamic character because in the beggining of the book she said that she couldn't let her parents see her with the greasers and in the end she was a spy for the socs.
  • Sandy
  • Soda's girlfriend
  • She was a static character because she still acted the same throughout the book (until she moved).
  • Marcia
  • Cherry's friend, who Ponyboy and Johnny met at the drive-in theater also.
  • She is a static character because in the begging (like Cherry) she couldn't let her parents see her with greasers and then it didn't mention her for the rest of the book.
  • Randy
  • He thinks that the fighting is pointless and that he thinks his father is dissapointed in him and that he is not going to go to the rumble.
  • He was a dynamic character because in the beggining he like to jump people for fun and now he says he wouldn't hurt anybody with anything.
  • Bob
  • Bob was a spoiled kid who only wanted to be told not. He also took a lot of pride in his rings he wore.
  • Bob was dynamic because he acted the same and just wanted to be told no throughout the book (until he died)
