Growing up, I can remember my mom would always read me a nursery rhyme or a short story before she put me to bed. My favorite was either the three little pigs or any story that had princesses in it.
When I was first learning to read, I remember that I loved to read to my stuffed animals. I enjoyed reading any Dr. Seuss books.
Drawing on the walls while taking a bath was a fun way I got to express writing as a little kid.
My mom was always reading something while I was growing up. She is more into science-fiction type of stuff like harry potter, that was one thing I have never been into.
In first grade we did this cool activity where we would have a 5th grade book buddy that would come and read to us once a week.
