Storyboard Text

  • Conflict
  • Exposition
  • Rising Action
  • Rachel is afraid to play basketball this year, because of a silly mistake that she made last year.
  • Climax
  • Rachel and her team-the Lincoln Junior High Badgers- have almost made it through the season with one game left, and Rachel didn't have to play her unlucky position- point guard.
  • Falling Action
  • Rachel and her team are off to their last game against the Riverside Middle School Panthers.
  • Resolution
  • During the middle of the game, the Badgers point guard falls down and sprains her ankle. In replace, the coach decides to put Rachel in as point guard. Rachel was very afraid, but she sucked it up and ran on the court anyway.
  • With the Lincoln Junior High Badgers down by two points, the team had no faith. With 8 seconds left on the clock, Rachel stole the ball, and dribbled down to the 3 point line. "7! 6!" the crowd was yelling. Rachel took a look at the ball, then the basket, closed her eyes, and shot. Seconds later, the buzzer went off and the crowd went wild. We won! We won? Rachel thought. She looked at the score board-24 to 25.
  • Everyone was ecstatic the Badgers won, and that they beat the Riverside Panthers! The whole team celebrated, and Rachel got over her fear of playing point guard.
