Storyboard Text

  • During WWII, men were being recruited to fight in the war, leaving woman back at home to fulfill their jobs as well as become recruited to the war as well
  • Because of the need for people, minorities were welcome to fight in WWII and be treated as equal to any other soldier
  • Over 60 billion people died in WWII and very much affected Americas population
  • Back at home, everyone was working. Building things for the war (airplanes, tanks, rifles, etc.) and especially trying to keep America stable.
  • Once the men and woman returned from war, there was far less people to support jobs and resources with because so many had died. This made it easy for America to work its way out of the Great Depression being that so many were employed from the war as well as supporting the war
