  • 1933 Eastern European Jews lived small villages called shtetls. They spoke yiddish and read yiddish books. Western European Jews lived like everyone else, they also had normal jobs and acted like everyone else.

  • March 1933 The stormtroopers were attacking the Jewish owned store in German cities. They were trying to segregate Jews and send them away. Even though the police tried to stop the stormtroopers they still continued.

  • October 28, 1938 Roughly 17,000 jews were expelled from school. They were being deported to Polland, but Polland refused. Most Jews just stayed in the middle of both Polland and Germany.
