  • Polonius is telling Reynaldo to ask around about his son Laertes reminding him to not directly ask ,but to hint around if they know anything that has happened to him.
  • “And in part him, but,” you may say, “not well. But, if ’t be he I mean, he’s very wild. Addicted so and so."
  • Polonius is giving an example to Reynaldo to say is he a wild party animal anymore , hasn't he always been one?
  • Polonius and Reynaldo are discussing how swearing, gambling ,drinking,fist-fighting, visiting prostitutes can ruin Laertes' reputation
  • Opheila has now entered to talk to her father ,she is scared about something that was just happened.
  • "O my lord, my lord, I have been so affrighted!"
  • Ophelia explains to her father that she was sewing in her chamber and Young Hamlet entered with his shirt unbuttoned and looking very messy. He had a terrified look on his face .
  • Opheila continues by saying telling her father that her took her by her wrist and held her firmly at arms length. His entire body seemed to shake having that happen he let go.
