The Battle of Bunker Hill
The signing of the Declaration of Independance
Bunker Hill battle in the Revolutionary War showed the colonists could fight against the British. Even though the colonist were well protected and prepared. The lost the battle to the British because the were low on gunpowder and ran out of ammunition.
This document was written by Thomas Jefferson. This document allows all men possess unalienable rights. Also it says the rulers should protect the rights of citizens and look out for their overall best interests.
This took place in the winter of 1777-1778. There was no battle actually fought but more than 1/5 died of diseases and malnutrition. There were little supplies and the weather was very harsh.
