God is always with us and in our hearts....
Come down from the tree Zacchaeus, I need to spend the night at your house.
Why would Jesus ask to stay at Zachaeus' house? He is a sinner!
Zacchaeus is an evil man! He takes 'tax' money away from even the unwealthy.
Father, I know I have done evil things in the past, but I am going to make up for it by giving half of my possessions to the poor, and I will pay back four times the amount to the people I have cheated.
Zaccchaeus, I always knew you too, were a son of Abraham. You have been saved and once you give back to these people, they will realize that you are not a bad man.
I am very sorry for cheating you out while tax collecting. I am here to give you back everything that belongs to you, plus some extra money as a token of my apology.
I accept your apology. Thank you for returning the money. You aren't such a bad guy after all.
I'm so glad that I had the opportunity to take Jesus into my home because he truly changed me. I used to be a bad man, who made people's lives miserable. Jesus made me realize that I too was a son of God, and that I had done wrong, but I could fix things. I did just that, and others around me also came to the conclusion that I was a good person.
