Storyboard Text

  • Exposition
  • Conflict
  • Rising Action
  • It was mid day when the doorbell rang at the White's house. Mr. and Mrs. White knew who was at the door, but only one of them wanted that person to be at the door.
  • Climax
  • Mr. White immediately made the third and last wish. It was for their son, Herbert White, to not be outside their house, waiting for them to open the door. With this wish, their son was now dead.
  • Falling Action
  • Mrs. White was devastated to know that her son was dead and now she couldn't see him. Also she was mad that Mr. White was the one that made that happen.
  • Resolution
  • When Mrs. White opened the door to see who was actually there, the Sergeant Major was there. He was there to talk about their son's passing. After he was done, he left immediately.
  • Mr. and Mrs. White decided that they would dispose of the monkey's paw immediately after the Sergeant Major left. They decided to throw it into a river in their backyard.
  • Mr. and Mrs. White got a call that same day from Sergeant Major. He was asking them why they put the monkey's paw in the river in his backyard. At this moment, the White family remembered him saying that you could not get rid of it forever.
