  • Psssttt....Who's the creator of the storyboard?
  • Exposition
  • The narrator tries to convince us that he is not mad. He also talks about how goading the "vulture eye" is.
  • Will you say that I am mad?
  • Rising Action
  • Every night the narrator watches the old man and his eye for seven nights.He is also very nice to him in the mornings.
  • On the eighth night, the narrator has made his decision to kill the old man because of his eye. The old man hears something and is awake and now he gives hearken to his surounddings. After killing the old man he cuts him and hides him under the floorboards.
  • Climax 
  • I'm so proud of my sagacity.
  • The man is on vacation. You can search the place if you want.
  • Falling Action
  • The police come and tell the narrator that the neighbor heard a sound. The narrator says that the scream was him and that they could search the house. The police believe his suppositions.
  • The neighbor told us he heard a sound.
  • The sound of the heart beating drives the man crazy. He can't take it anymore and vehemently tells the police that he killed the old man. He showed them where the body was hidden.
