the great depression it began in the usa as the stock market crashed. and the dust bowl accord. but it spread to europe as the usa loans and closed back all trades. the european countries could not pay off the debts. for ww1 and it became an event called the great depression. many people lost there jobs and became homeless.
britain's ununemployment rate skyrocketed a tsunami-unexpected. people began bedding for jobs.
can i plz have a job
the leadership stayed the same- king george and the parliament were still in charge. changing the leadership would have caused my problems inside the goverment. and would have called panic in the people. the leadership did not change
during the great depression. britain did not change from its normal economic system capitalism. if they did it would have have cause panic with the people and the revolts would have occurred and the government realized that. they left the system as it was.
and that is how england responded to the great depression.
