The Parade Grounds
In the book Al Capone Does My Shirts, The Warden actually lives on Alcatraz I got this information from page 116 because he was yelling at kids.
Cell House next to The Wardens House
In the authors note, the author states that the guards who worked at Alcatraz actually lived on Alcatraz too!
According to The Alcatraz Facts& Figures Website the #64 building was real and they also had the bowling alley(the officers club) and according to The Gardens Of Alcatraz Website the parade grounds where also real and they had some plants n that area.
The warden of Alcatraz actually lived on Alcatraz according to The Alcatraz Facts & Figures Website. The warden lived in a house next to all of the cell houses, and sometimes used inmates with good records for cooking and cleaning for him.
