Storyboard Text

  • Bye guys, I have to fight this dragon all on my own.
  •  It's your time to die, dragon! Good luck defeating me.
  • We are NOT about to go in there...
  • I remember that time when mead was flowing, how we pledged loyalty to our lord in the hall...
  • Beowulf tells the other warriors that he has to fight the dragons on his own because he believes that his fate lies in the outcome.
  • Beowulf goes inside the crag where the dragon is sleeping. He yells to wake him and then the battle commences.
  • Bring me the dragon's treasure.
  • The warriors can tell the battle isn't going in Beowulf's favor and they run and hide. Wiglaf, the only brave warrior, berates them and tells them that they should help.
  • Wow, would you look at that barrow!
  • Wiglaf joins Beowulf in the fight against the dragon. Wiglaf stabs the dragon in the stomach. He makes it out alive but Beowulf suffers an injury.
  • We're going to kill you!
  • Beowulf realizes that he is fatally wounded and is about to die. He has Wiglaf bring him the dragon's treasure.
  • As Beowulf is dying he asks Wiglaf if he will construct a barrow in his honor. He says he wants the ships to see it as they sail past.
