Hey! My name is Mark and I have a huge biology test tomorrow, think you could help me review? Let's go and meet the scientists that had a contribution to the cell theory!
Follow Mark onto the bus to begin your journey!
This bus will allow us to travel back in time to meet each scientist! Let's go visit the scientist that coined the term "cell"!
Thank you Robert Hooke! This is a good start to the studying of my test. We will now continue to see the man who discovered the nucleus.
I am Robert Hooke. Around age twenty, my career turned more towards science. I named the basic unit of structures and functions.I coined the term "cells". Cells make up all living things.
I am the Scottish botanist Robert Brown responsible for the discovery of the nucleus. You may also know me for my work called "The Brownian Motion". Much of my work is done looking through microscopes.
I am learning so much! I am sure to get an A on this test! Thank you Robert Brown!
We better go talk to Schwann. Thank you for the help!
I am a German Botanist named Matthias Scleiden. I am credited for the discovery that all plants, like this tree here, are composed of cells. Cells are alive! Schwann later discovered something similar to my findings.
