  • The Judicial Branch is made up of the Supreme Court, Court of Appeals, and District of Courts. The Judicial Branch interprets laws, decides if laws are constitutional, decides court cases, and settles cases between states.

  • The Executive Branch is made up of the President, Vice President, and their Cabinet. The Executive Branch approves bills, vetoes bills, directs the military, makes foreign policy, and enforces laws.

The Legislative Branch crafts bills, overturns vetoes to pass bills, can impeach the president, declares war, approves and rejects president's appointments, and is the "power of the purse."
