Mary is the servant in the Proctors home. Additionally, she is apart of Abigail's group of accusers. Easily influenced and scared of others, her confession to falsely accusing people of witchcraft was a failure.
Danforth is the deputy governor of Massachusetts and is the judge (accuser) for the witch trials. He is convinced that he is doing what is right and properly eliminating witchcraft in Salem.
Giles is a farmer in Salem who is very well known to file lawsuits against others in the community. Martha, Giles wife, is accused of witchcraft and eventually he is accused as well. Refusing to do what the court asks of him, he is pressed to death with large stones.
