  • Abigail is the main accuser in "The Crucible." She accuses multiple girls of being witches in order to protect herself.
  • Abigail's reputation was tarnished when she was dismissed from the Proctor's service. Although no one knows why she was dismissed, they suspect something. When she begins to accuse people she is seen as deceptive.
