Arnold describes himself as odd, through his pictures in page 5, a representation of what he sees him self in a comedic way. This is significant because his appearance is made fun of, his medical conditions, and his race.
Rowdy is the friend of Arnold, Rowdy is shown as intimidating, hot headed, and caring. In page 20, Rowdy is at first, showing that he can fight anyone, then in page 23, Rowdy has been described by Arnold saying that he is soft when it comes to Arnold and simple comic books. This shows him as a person who is tough in the out side, and soft and caring in the inside. Which is Significant between Arnold and himself.
