Effects of Not Recycling

Hey, before you throw out your trash, did you sort and see if there were any recyclable items?
No, why? Recycling isn't important.
You might think that, but there are actually many consequences that happen due to not recycling,
Most of your garbage goes to landfills, that sometimes spill into the ocean. When this happens, many animals are harmed. Turtles, for example, can get stuck in your soda pack holders, or eat plastic bags, mistaking them for jellyfish.
Also, all those water bottles you never recycled end up in landfills and create methane. A gas that causes global warming.
Here's what you can do:
Use blue bins to separate plastics, paper, and glass so not everything ends up in a landfill and spilling into the ocean.
You can use two bins; one for paper, and one for plastic! Keep the oceans clean and recycle items that can be recycled. Keep our Earth habitable for everyone, including future generations!
And remember, reduce, reuse and recycle!
