Storyboard Text

  • Outside the school, Ms. Computa explains how the school computers are connected.
  • All the computers in the school are connected to one network. This is called a LAN, which stands for Local Area Network!
  • Oh, so local area networks are only found in schools?
  • Ms. Computa explains to Molly where LAN networks can be found.
  • Nope! LAN can be found within any building or group of buildings that are close together.
  • Oh okay! So the network I have at home isn't a LAN?
  • DISCLAIMER: It is normally not safe to invite strangers into your home to fix your computer.
  • Ms. Computa explains to Molly that HAN networks are found in houses.
  • Oh that makes sense! Can you come inside and fix my Home Area Network for me?
  • No, the network you have at home is a HAN. HAN stands for Home Area Network!
  • Ms. Computa fixes Molly's computer by connecting it to a Home Area Network.
  • CONNECTED TO A HOME AREA NETWORK
  • Thank you Ms. Computa!
  • No problem! Just make sure you do your homework before you play. See ya!
  • Just as Ms. Computa said, Molly did her homework and then played Monkey Mash with her friends.
  • MONKEY MASH
  • Molly and her friends were happy that Molly was able to play Monkey Mash again. THE END
  • The day after...
  • Hey guys! I finally fixed my computer network! Did you see our win on Monkey Mash last night?!
