In the medieval Period, clothes were more valuable. The clothes of people expressed there financial situation. People changed their clothes seldom.
Most people only made clothing in order for protection and warmth rather then what they look like. The more civilized human being began to get the better and wider range of clothing started to exist.
During the 1770´s the sewing machine was invented for people to start wearing better clothing. When people saw theses designs they wanted to create their own desgins and so more clothing was produced.
When more materials such as leather and fur were found, clothes started looking a lot better and people started wearing clothes because of what they looked like rather then what they were for.
In the 1900`s woman and men were a lot more fashion and were more happy to wear things. Fashion such as long cloaks, long scarves, big pants, sweaters, cardigans and sandals and more coloured clothing began.
During the 1930`s a lot of men started wearing business suits and woman started wearing party dresses for fashion.
In the 1950`s to 1960`s clothing was much more relaxed. Teengares after the war could travel around to buy clothes which were most commonly made of leather and some girls would were black party dresses and skirts.
