Conflict/Rising Action: There was 3 main conflicts in this book... 1st. Holden telling his family he got kicked out of school 2nd. Getting scammed by Maurice and the prostitute for more money 3rd. Holden's on going anxiety throughout the whole book.
Turning Point: When Holden tells Sally to run away with him and just his crazy idea of him finding job when they run away shows you Holden literally overthinks everything but lives in the moment at the same time.
Resolution: At the end of the book Holden basically wants to run away from everyone. Until he see's his little sister Phoebe. She changes his mind without even trying too and he finally goes home, and tells his family he's been kicked out of school...Again.
