"‘Stop half a moment, Mr. Gargery, ‘I think I’ve got a bright new shilling somewhere in my pocket, and if I have, the boy shall have it."
Chapter 9- This was essential to this chapter because Mrs. Joe Gargery and Uncle Pumblechook were questioning Miss Havisham and Pip wouldn't respond. Miss Havisham told Pip not to tell anyone what happened in the house, which is making Mrs. Joe Gargery and Uncle Pumblechook angry.
Chapter 10- Pip is asked to meet Joe Gargery at the at the bar at Jolly Bargemen. When he gets there he meets a mysterious stranger who won't stop looking at him and hands him a shilling in paper and Pip wanted to know who this strange man was.
