Storyboard Text

  • In the beginning it seems Elie believes is in god and also serious about his studies but out of all this he does not have any relationship with his father just a little talk with him during first chapter because his father seems to be a leader in the community who gives everyone advices. For example "He rarely displayed his feelings, not even within his family, and was more involved with the welfare of others than with that of his own kin. The Jewish community of Sighet held him in highest esteem, his advice on public and even private matters was frequently sought".
  • In chapter six Elie knows that neither his father nor him can live without each other. For ex "My father's presence was the only thing that stopped me. He was running next to me, out of breath, out of strength, desperate. I had no right to let myself die. What would he do without me? I was his sole support".
  • That shows that after going through all obstacles they kind of getting together.
