Boudicca and her husband, Prasutagus, were king and queen of the Iceni Tribe
Boudicca was mad at Rome because when her husband, the king died. He left her half of his land and half to the Emperor of Rome. But the Roman Emperor Nero wanted it all.
The Roman Emperor Nero thought that a woman could not rule over any of the land. So he tried to take it from her.
Give Me Your Land!
The Roman governor Gaius Suetonius Paulinus was northwest coast of Wales, Boudica led the Iceni people into Camulodunum and destroyed the city.
Boudicca lead 100,000 soldiers in to Londinium (Which is now modern day London ) and burned it to the ground.
The Battle of Watling Street took place with Boudicca leading the Iceni soldiers and a Roman army led by Gaius Suetonius Paulinus. Although heavily outnumbered, the Romans defeated the Iceni soldiers, and inflicted heavy losses on them.
