  • Declaration of the Rights of Man
  • Reign of Terror
  • The women of Paris were fed up with the lack of bread and leadership. They marched to Versailles and protested to get bread, and they also convinced Louis and Marie to return with them.
  • Execution of Louis XVI and Marie Antionette
  • The Declaration of the rights of man was the "declaration of independence" for France. It was their document stating their human and citizen rights.
  • Rise of Napoleon
  • Maximillian Robespierre came to power during this time. He executed anyone who was even accused of speaking out against his teaching. He instilled fear in everyone because they didn't stand a fair trial, They were just executed via guillotine.
  • Fall of Napoleon
  • Louis and Marie were put to death because of their status as the Monarchs of France. They were held in a prison and were watched constantly.
  • after the reign of terror, Napoleon took power over France, made himself emperor, and changed the system of France's government.
  • Napoleon was exiled two times. After the battle of Waterloo, he was exiled, he came back into power. During those hundred days, he put together an army, attacked, Napoleon lost, and was exiled, where he eventually died.
