  • "Home,little fran?"
  • This indirect characerizes fran and how she is loving. Fran is so excited to tell scrooge the good news that he can come home for Christmas because scrooge usuallly has to spend it at school. Fran was so happy to see her brother and she loves her brother very much.
  • "I am here to bring you home, dear brother! To bring you home home home home!
  • "spirit! Are they yours?"
  • The ghost of Christmas past is symbolizes England by hiding the two children under his coat and how in England during that time was hiding the poor and the prisons.
  • "They are mans, and they cling to me, appeling from their fathers. This boy is ignorance. This girl is want. Beware of them both".
  • "if they would rather die they had better do it and decrease the surplus population"
  • "Manh can't go there: and many would rather die."
  • This indirectly chractirizes scrooge and how he is a cold hearted person and how he dosnt care about poor people and hat they should die and decrease the population surplus.

  • This is internal conflict. Scrooge was starting to feel guilty and bad how he was rude to his nephew because he loved his sister very much and she would of wanted him to be nice to him.
  • "She died a woman, and had as i think, children." "true, your nephew."
  • "What place is this?"
  • The theme of this is that you can be jolly,happy, and have a good christmas even when you are poor. The miners are working on christmas in the bowels of the earth but they still have christmas spirit.
  • "A place where miners live, who labor in the bowels of the earth."
  • This is internal conflict. Belle thinks scrooge likes work over her so she is breaking up with scrooge.
  • "May you be happy in the life you have chooson."
