Odysseus and his men arrive at an island. He grabbed his best men to explore with him.
Look it's a cave! I see some milk and cheese too! Lets go inside and see if the cyclops is there.
As soon as the cyclops came in, he grabbed two men and ate them. This action made Odysseus realize that Polyphemus was a threat, and they needed to get out of the cave.
I'm Polyphemus, the son of Poseidon. Why have you strangers come in my cave?
Odysseus intoxicates Polyphemus with wine. Then, he makes a spear and stabs the cyclops in the eye with it.
They hid underneath the sheep's stomachs to sneak out of the cave. Once outside, they ran towards their ship.
Curse you, Odysseus!
Odysseus taunts Polyphemus. This results in him being cursed that he will not return home for a long time.
