Storyboard Text

  • Dionysus is the son of Zeus and Semele. Hera tricked Semele into asking Zeus to appear to her in all of his divine glory. Unfortunately, Semele could not withstand the power of his presence and she was destroyed. Zeus rescued the unborn Dionysus and sewed him into his thigh. Dionysus was born from Zeus, instead of his mother.
