  • The pygmy marmoset is the smallest monkey in the world! The average body weight of an adult in the wild is only 4 ounces!
  • Squirrel monkeys are some of the most common monkeys in the rain forests of Central and South America.
  • Saki monkey is a more common name for any primate that is a member of the Pithecia genus. They have long, bushy tails.

  • Snub-nosed monkeys are colorful Asian monkeys that live very high in the trees, sometimes in large groups. The trees are usually in secluded densely forested areas.
  • The diet of the red colobus money is different from other monkeys, so they are able to share trees with other kinds of monkeys.
