  • I have big glasses because my eyes are lopsided and  I'm really skinny with big feet and big hands
  • Oscar
  • BEST FRIEND <3
  • Rowdy
  • Rowdy's Dad's an alcoholic and have burses because of him, like to dream too
  • Arnold is significant because he is the narrator and he is changing his life by moving to a new school. "Yep, it was that easy with my Parents. It was almost like they'd been waiting for me to ask them if..." (p.46)
  • Mary
  • Oscar is significant because he help Arnold to cope with his feeling  and is Arnold's best non-human friend. "Honestly, Oscar was a better person than any human I had ever met" (p.9)
  • Mr. P
  • I have a big nose and is 4 feet tall
  • Rowdy is significant because Rowdy acts tough and gets mad a lot but cares for Arnold. "Did they hit you in the head?" Rowdy asked. He knows that my brain is fragile."(p.21)

  • totally absolutely gorgeous!
  • Mary is significant because Arnold never saw his sister in that way and always thought lowly of her. "I knew my sister was smart. But I'd never heard a teacher say that about her. And I'd never heard anybody say that she was smarter than me..."(p.36)

  • Mr. P is significant because he tell Arnold that the teachers were were told to hit them if they weren't being like whites. "We were supposed to kill the Indian to save the child."(p.35)
  • Penelope is significant because she ask for his name and she started to laugh making Arnold confused and maybe feel uncomfortable. "What's your name?" Penelope asked. junior," I said. She laughed and told her girlfriend at the next desk that my name was junior..." (p.59)
