Storyboard Text

  • Harrison Bergeron
  • Exposition
  • Rising Action
  • Story made by: Kurt Vonnegut Storyboard made by: Tony Bohna
  • Climax
  • This story takes place in the future, where average is the new way of living. In this story, if you were stronger, smarter, or better looking, you were handicapped for it.
  • Falling Action
  • George and Hazel Bergeron, the characters, were at home, George looking like he hasn't slept in weeks, doing things as an average person would do. The TV was on, playing an average ballerina performance, but then the news started up.
  • Resolution
  • The news started playing on the TV, with the newsman that kept stuttering over his own words. A ballerina takes over as the newsman cannot continue. The ballerina goes on to say that their son, Harrison Bergeron, escaped from prison and is said to be a threat to society, as he was above in many different ways.
  • Harrison Bergeron- A threat to society.
  • Harrison goes on to take over the cinema that is hosting the ballerina performance to spread his message about the government and how he hates it. Then he starts taking off his handicap gear. Same thing with one of the ballerinas. Then they both started defying gravity and floated into the air. But the handicapper general shot them both on camera.
  • But after this whole thing, George had received an ear-piercing tone emitted by the government and forgot about the whole thing. His wife, Hazel, because she had lower intelligence, had forgotten about it as well, although she was crying.
