In present day America, Stan Khan Tinople is trying to plan an informal trip to three different countries. Stan is trying to learn and make connections about the Byzantine Empire, Phoenicians, and the Christian Empire. Stan wants to travel to Turkey.
Stan decided that the Phoenicians connected a lot to the Byzantine Empire. So he wanted to travel to Lebanon. Stan wanted to make connection between the two and see what was similar.
The Christian Empire connects between both topics so far because both share the religion Christianity in both. The Christian Empire started to form around the fourth century. The first Christian emperor was Constantine. The capital of the Byzantine Empire was named Constantionple because of the king Constantine. The Phoenicians were Christian and similar to the christian empire there civilazation grew and made new things. Also, had many people join them.
The final stop on Stan Khan Tinople's journey was to Italy. Stan realized the Christian Empire connected to both topics the Phoenicians and the Byzantine Empire.
The Byzantine Empire capital was Constantinople and it was located in between the Black and Mediterranean Seas. Also, located at the southern end of the Bosporus strait. Since, the Empire was located on a peninsula they had to build a wall on there most vulnerable side so attackers could not get in.
The Phoenicians were located near the Mediterranean Sea. The Phoenicians flourished in trade by using the sea to their advantage. The Phoenicians lived in prosperous, with walled city states including Byblos, Tyre, and Sidon and were at the edges of water.
