  • he battle took place in 1777 on september 11, at Chadds Ford in Pennsylvania.
  • The main person in the battle was George Washington and what happened in the battle was the british surprised the right wing of the colonist. The outcome was the colonist retreated and howe controlled Pennsylvania.
  • The significance of the conflict was that the British seized Philadelphia after their victory at Brandywine Creek. Also this lead to the british winning another battle at Germantown.
