Storyboard Text

  • Sir Lancelot went out in search of adventure, with his nephew accompanying him. Along the way, he fell asleep beside a tree.  His nephew, Sir Lyonel kept watch over him until....
  • Like those 4 other knights, Sir Lyonel was overtaken, the fate of those other knights befell him, and he was put into a dungeon. Sir Lancelot slept on, unaware.
  • I challenge you to a duel! I have already overtaken 4 knights, bound them and taken them prisoner!
  • Then along came Sir Ector de Marys, "who liked to accompany Sir Launcelot on his adventures".
  • Since Sir Ector refused, he too, was put into the dungeons, along with the other knights, bewailing their fate, and wondering what had become of Sir Lancelot.
  • "My good fellow, ... could you tell me in which direction I am most likely meet with adventure?"
  • Never!
  • "You have fought better than any knight I have encountered in 12 years; therefore.. I will demand no more.. than parole as my prisoner".
  • Go to the ford in the forest, knock in the cauldron three times, and you will find adventure.
  • "' Let us not quarrel", said Morgan Le Fay. "Instead, I will cast a charm of enchantment upon him, so that he remains asleep, and we will take him to my castle, and make him our prisoner. We can then oblige him to choose one of us for his paramour."'
  • While Sir Lancelot was sleeping, 4 queens had passed by and seeing that he was handsome, each desired him for herself.
  • Sir Lancelot refused them all, and with the help of King Bagdemagus' daughter. After several other misadventures, and obstacles, Sir Lancelot arrives at the castle of the unknown knight.
  • Sir Lancelot bests Sir Tarquine, beheads him, and frees all the knights in the dungeon.
  • The knight is Sir Tarquine, who fights because his brother was killed by Sir Lancelot.  The knights seem equal, but when Sir Tarquine hears who he is fighting, he declares....
  • Then we must fight to the death!
