Long horn cattle were important to Texas cattle industry because they were well suited in Texas,thrived on native grasses,the cattle were strong animals that could endure hot weather as well as cold.And could survive with little water.
The life of a cowboy was a harsh day they faced many dangers,including blizzards,floods,and stampeds,they also roam through rugged gorgeous landscapes.
The Texas legislature ended the "range wars" by making it illegal to cut barbed wire fences and a gate in every three miles of fence to allow passage for roads and railroads.Also it banned people from fencing land they did not own or lose.
