  • Men went hunting and fishing while the girls stayed home with the kids.
  • Men cut down trees to build their homes in order for everyone to be safe.
  • Cherokees built and lived in small tipis.
  • Cherokee began in Iowa, by building small houses and tipis it became a bigger colony.
  • Most cherokees ate fish and hunted for deer meat.
  • Cherokee spoke Iroquoian as their main language .
  • Men went out to cut down trees while the women stayed home with the children.
  • Instead the Cherokee people adored the one Great Spirit, God, who they described as “the only Giver and Taker of life.'
  • Cherokees built small houses and tipis to increase population.
  • The main language was Iroquoian.
  • Their spiritual beliefs were their own God “the only Giver and Taker of life.'
